Back with another FREE trial perk as part of being a BzzAgent. This time, it was Kroger's CARBmaster line of yogurts. YAY for my girls since they LOVE yogurt!
In this campaigns BzzKit I received a FREE $10 gift card from Kroger to purchase as many CARBmaster yogurts as I please plus coupons for $ off for any friends interested in trying it for themselves.YAY! My girls were SUPER excited since, as I mentioned before they are BIG on yogurt. We got to Kroger and picked one of the MANY flavors they had for us to choose from in the form of original, lite, Greek, and Greek lite. Plus we picked up a quarter gallon of the non-fat reduced sugar milk in vanilla. Got home, had the girls pick their favorite flavors and had them dig in. First reaction? They said "YUM!" and even gave me thumbs up for the camera (one of my BzzTasks).. BUT then I noticed they took 3 spoonfuls and left it. This was strange because they NEVER leave their yogurt. Went to try it for myself... YUCK! No wonder. The first thing that came to mind was artificial sweetener. It was sooo strong that I couldn't even taste the actual flavor of the yogurt. I thought this was just me but every single yogurt my girls' opened they would leave after 2 or 3 bites, sign that they weren't big fans :-(
They did love the milk though and dubbed it "the delicious milk", so naturally, I had to taste for myself. Tasted like water with tons of sugar and a hint of vanilla. NO WONDER THEY LOVED IT! Nothing but sugar LOL.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this yogurt... sorry Kroger!!
